I'm wondering if anyone has heard of someone going into the hospital with pneumonia and ending up with a stroke in their spine the has caused total paralysis from the chest don. This happened to my 28 yearold son.He was on the ventilator 3 times over 41/2 weeks, was septic and when he came off the vent he couldn't move. He seems to have some infection and they can't really define where it is. It seems to move around. Every main IV line they inserted became infected and caused blood clotts. Let me know if you have heard of anything like this or can turn me to and web site that might help me. Thanks..
