to Jenifer, I am 50 yrs old and when I was 27 married and had gone thru hell to have a child with PCOS, I finally had a hysterectomy!!!!! It was the best day of my life! I had lived thru so many years of pain and agony that a begged my doctor to please do it. When all else had failed to work, they agreed it was the only other option. After the surgery, they told me the ovaries were almost none existant. The cysts had encompassed the to the point that they no longer worked. At 50, I still have to take a dose of Estrogen every day but it was worth it to stop the pain. Follow the advice of a good doctor, he knos the best root for you to go. Good luck.
