I only just developed pityriasis rosacea about two years ago. I was 49 yrs. old. My dermatologist told me it will come and go whenever, and it has, 2 or 3 times already since I first started with it. He prescribed Triamcinolone cream for it. It works great. He told me not to take hot showers or baths as this brings it out even more. He also told me it was a viral thing, just a dermatitis thing. The cream really works well. Spread it on thinly a couple times a day til it goes away.
