Hi Linda, I have done so much research on thyroid cancer, papillary and was currently trying to find any info about the link between thyroid and shingles. Your letter caught my eye because I have also been researching about long term effects of repeat treatments of RAI. My now 20 year old daughter Jenna was diagnosed her senior year in high school and we have been on a roller coaster ride since. 1st surgery removed 1/2 thyroid, final results showed cancer had spread outside thyroid, 2nd surgery 3 weeks later. Have been thru 3 scans and 3 treatments, last 1 being in Jan and now the wait for more followup in 6 mo. please send any info!!! thank you!!! Bunny
