I am 84 years old and in fairly good health and very active but my vision has slowly been worse over the past ten years. I was always told that it was my cataracts developing . I was referred to an ophtomologist for cataract surgery by my optometrist from LensCrafters. I was informed that the cataracts were not a problem but that I do have moderately advanced the dry type macular degeneration of both eyes .No treatment was recommended. I have had diabetes that is under good control . Can you please advise
