I am 4 months pregnant and have also been diagnosed with the "possibility" of it having trisomy 18. The life expectancy is that if you do make it to birth (40% do, the other miscarriage, even late on) there is a 50% chance of survival past the first week and a 10% chance of survival to the first year. Talk about depressing. I believe that these babies are sent here for a very special purpose, it may be short, but we all learn alot more about humility, sympathy, and unconditional love.
