Hi Karen, I had surgery 4 yrs ago My surgery went well they say I have no more nerve damage. I have alot of trouble still to this day with having the same symptons that I had before the surgery ,but I would do it all over again because i don't know where I would be today if I didn't have it. The doctors I saw at first didn't want to do the surgery and I finally found a doctor to take me seriously. When he got in there he said I was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. He told me he was surprised that I eve survived childhood. My advise is keep searching for that doctor that takes you seriously.
