I had an abdominal aortic anuerysm alittle over a year ago..I have had lots of abdominal swelling but on both sides of incision...Mine is @14 inches long too. It is still tender especially if I stretch. I have to take a diuretic if I notice a weight gain of 4lbs in 1 day. It usually helps. I have gained 20 lbs since surgery and can't seem to get it off. Have you gained? Did you have an aorta byfem? I have synthetic grafts .....like a garden hose the shape of an upside down Y. I would like too talk to you some more on this subject.
