My PMS seems to get worse with age. I've tried vitamins, herbs, and excercise regularly, but the effects are minimal. Zoloft made me spaced out, lethargic and I couldn't sleep. I am now taking my gynecologist's recommendation to go back on the birth control pill. She's a woman in her late 40s, so I trust her judgment. However, I'm concerned that the pill is just masking the problem and that it will be worse when I stop not to mention the possible long-term effects on my body. Any suggestions/input?
