I am also on depakote. But it does not seem to be helping. I have known of my bi-polar illness for 25 years and the only thing that has ever worked for me was lithium. I am in a very depressed state as of right now. It is even hard for me to write this but I need soomeone to talk to. I also have instant message if you can contact me please do so.
