Just found out Monday that my Dr. supects Polyalgiia. he is running blood test and has started me on 40 mg of Prednisone. It has helped since Monday. Most of my trouble has been in my legs, with a lot of swelling and burning pain and could hardley stand to touch my legs. And they had a blue- red color Also hip pain and between the shoulders and arm pain. Worried about taking the prednisone because of weight gain. Had back surgery and can't afford to gain weight. Did you gain much? Like you my sleep is disturbed and a terrible headache. No one else has mentioned trouble with there legs. Get lab results tomorrow.
