Dear Helena, I have a similar problem. My vioce loss always begins with a virus, but once it's gone it seems to take weeks/months for it to return. At present, I am stuck in week four and it doesn't look like improving. I am very frustrated and even embarrased as the Ear Nose and Throat specialist says it is purely inflamation of the larynx, but could give me no other information. Have you been offered any advice or assistance? Would love to recieve a reply from you. Regards Angela
