Dear Dee, I also have AA and have had a BMT although my brother was my doner. I am still tested for Cmv every couple of weeks as I am still fighting for remission. I therefore assume that I have been exposed to CMV. When I am admitted to the hosp. I require isolation. Your best bet is to talk to your sister's Dr. or someone through the AA fondation to answer your questions throughly. God speed to you and your sister. I hope is all for her.
