My daughter was exposed to chicken pox, and came down with them in the 3rd trimester of her pregnancy. She did not have any serious problems, other than discomfort. The baby did not have any problems. We are not sure if she also had chicken pox in the womb, but she is 13 now and has never come down with them when exposed.
