My daughter is 15 1/2 and has an s curve. Her curves are 37 degrees and 49 degrees. We have heard of the Copes brace and the chiropractor she was seeing thought it would be worth checking out. However when we actually talked about going there he acted as though he wasn't very impressed with it. I've gone to their site but I don't know whether to believe everything I read. I would hate for her to go through three years of wearing the brace only to have it not work and end up having to go through surgery. We have been thinking of going ahead with surgery and it be over with in a year and let her get on with her life. Her breathing is affected from the twisting of her back. If we go with the brace it will take her into her freshman year of college. What kind of results have you seen with the copes brace?
