My 27 yaer old son has a/s and yes I find as a mother it is a nightmare watching the emotional and physical pain he is in. There seems to be no help. I know he gets quite desoerate at times. He is living in Australia and I live in New Zealand. I would like to correspond with you. He got it because of the B 27 factor he inherited genetically from his father. When he was 8 he got Salmonella food poisoning and that triggered off the B27 and he has been in chronic pain and on anti inflammatories ever since.
