Hi! I have a four-year old that was born with hydrocephalus and has had a shunt since he was 2 days. I'd be happy to share any information I could with you about this condition. His hydrocephalus was quite severe at birth and his prognosis wasn't good then. But after a year and a half of being developmentally delayed he has really picked up. His only really impairments (noticable) are with his motor skills. He has problems with balance and coordination. He has had one shunt revision due to overdraining. So any questions or information you might have let me know. I have spent the last several years learning everything I can about it..
