Dear Mrs H. I have two daughters diagnosed with fx, they are moderatley to severley affected and are currently involved in a special school. Girls with the sydrome are said to not be as affected as boys, they are often mildly to moderatley affected although some fall into the severe range. It depends on the individual child, but the key to encouraging your child to achieve the best they can as individuals is thru early intervention and therapy programs.
