I have had shingles (head neck and around waist. There is a medication for this, very expensive in Canada (about $200, however, it must be used during thefirst four days of the onset. So, don't waste your money. Once the pain is gone they will start to subside and gradually you will get better. Best you look at the cause and try to sort that out. Usually, caused by stress and are particularly active if you never had chicken pox. Stress, stress, stress!! Hope this helps a littl.
