I want to know if anyone has this disease and if you are getting Phlrbotomiess? And how do you feel afterwords how many have you had to have? I am on the 7th and very fatigued. Also had liver biopsy and am going to have a liver sonogram although all my liver test have come back negative. I still don't understand the numbers.The transferrin saturation was 58 and the serum ferritin was 783.5 and I don't no what that means. I also am a carrier one gene. Which is I guess better than 2. I guess it means that only one side of the family was the carrier. We my sister and I think it was my Mother side but everyone is gone so we have no one to ask. My older sister died of liver cancer at 63. My doctor is very good and had all these test done and really keeps tabs on me. I think because my sister died of liver cancer. She never had a drink in her life.
