My younger sister (age early 40's) has been growing more & more unable to control her bodily functions. Almost comepletly confined to a wheel chair. Tingling in her arms & legs. Undergone numerous tests--they say she is suffering from a birth defect in her neck that affects her spine, etc. They say there is only 1 or 2 physicians in AMerica that might be able to operate to give her relief. She suffers extreme migrating pains in her body. What are some birth defects that fall under this description? Are there any cures for such a thing? She was a healthy energetic nurse for many years & now you can hardly recognize her. Please email me directly or redirect me to any possible links that might have info.
