Hi Sai I am not an expert. im 14 and had scoliosis surgery 1 year ago. In the 1 month waiting for surgery one curve progressed 10 degrees. Worsening is not based on age rather on number of months since beginning of menstruation. Most growth is within 2 years. But there seems to be many adult cases on the internet whose curves have worsened and needed surgery. Please note I was a very sever case. The doctor planned to carry out surgery within two weeks of first seeing me as i had 3 curves the largest being over 80 degrees.
