I dont know if im too late, but It took me two weeks to discover that my daughter who is seven is allergic to ascorbic and citric acid she breaks out in welt type rashes the size of peas. the doctor put her on clariton. The bad thing is, is that she cant have ANY fruit without taking it maybe, he has developed an allergy to it, remember citrus is very strong.
