Most likely it is due to hypothyroidism. I have it too, and before I got put on medication, I had problems with short term memory. If you're not already on medication, you should get some, but if you are already on, I would get some blood work done to see if your levels are alright. You shouldn't be having memory problems when you're on the correct amount of medicine.
