Prepare yourself. This could take a very, very, very long time. The only suggestion I have is a product called Not so nice to Lice. It is not as harsh as the other products on the market and it does get rid of the nits and live lice in one swoop. Not to mention it makes the combing much easier. I have been fighting lice for over a year. Stay in touch with the school and daycare and insist they do head checks. There is a "no nit" policy at my daugher's school, however, the policy is not exactly followed. Children in the school were being found with nits and being sent to daycare at the end of the school day. It's a never ending battle. Good luck.
