My husband was treated for a malignant brain tumor and it appears to be gone for now. However, they treated him so aggressively that he is now suffering from necrosis of the brain tissue. It is causing multiple cognitive problems for him (memory loss, confusion, apathy, etc) and doing more damage than the tumor ever did. He is now on a blood thinner to hopefully clear up the problem somewhat but they tell us that is all they know of to treat this problem and even the blood thinner rarely works. Does anybody know of anything or anyplace where they may have some alternative treatments for this problem? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. He is only 32.
