Yes I have had massage therapy and the painful thearpy is due from them trying to relieve the trigger and pressure points. It is very painful at first, but after a few treatments you should feel a lot better. I went through this tyoe of therapy for about a year until my insurance company refused to pay anymore. But I then bought a Thera-cane, which is a tool that I use now to get rid of the trigger points myself. I have fibromyalgia really bad and am on methadone for pain because morphine does not work anymore. I would give up my drugs before giving up that form of therapy by using the thers-cane. Please e-mail me if you would like more info on that type of therapy or the address to find out more about the thera-cane. I believe everyone should own one whether they have fibro or not. All my friends use it when they come visit me.
