Does anyone have any info on latex allergies? I'm wondering, I have been having repeated attacks of hives, and swelling, and will be tested, as soon as these antihistamines, and steroids are out of my system. but, would, having a severe hive and swelling reaction, after, using a hot roller set on hair, that was made from rubber,and also the roler clips were coated, be an indication of allergy to latex? I never connected it, to my problem, until reading and studying about latex.. I'm going crazy, thinking it was something I ate, or whatever. also, thinking, all the anitbiotics in beef chicken, pork etc..... I'm deadly allergic to penicillin, and all synthetic forms of it,,, and husband and I have been eating alot of meat,,, hes on high protein diet.... so I really can't figure it out,, and am miserable, until I find out.. anyone have a clue about the hot roller incident??? Help??????
